Bryan Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER To Be 3D? X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Too??

Jim here. According to a recent interview from Heat Vision with Bryan Singer - he is seriously considering either native or conversion 3D for his next upcoming project JACK THE GIANT KILLER.

JTGK is most likely based on the storyline that Jack has an uncle who is a three headed-giant, whom he tricks into giving him a sword of sharpness, boots of speed, a cloak of darkness, and a cap of knowledge.

Warner Bros. has this slated for a 2011 release.
Singer will be shooting it in London.

Here is what Singer had to say about AVATAR: "It was very cool. I had seen 30-40 minutes before, but the whole thing was amazing. From the beginning, with those shots in space, I felt goosebumps. It was inspiring. I’m going back and forth, debating, on using 3D for "Jack," and it pushed me a little closer in the 3D direction. 3D is a little daunting. And then there's the decision of, do you shoot in 3D, or do you post in 3D? And how to achieve that? I have a very good visual effect supervisor on "Jack" who has a lot of 3D character experience."

So we all know that if a director likes 3D for one of his projects he may very well carry it forward to others... So that may very well mean X-MEN: FIRST CLASS! We shall see! My feelers are out :-)
